Heather McQueen

Heather McQueen is Professor of Biology Education and associate director of teaching for the School of Biological Sciences. She is currently on half-time secondment to the Institute of Academic Development to investigate the flipped classroom, and have been trialling novel “quectures” as a partially flipped method of active learning. Other previous and current projects include collaborative online learning using PeerWise, co-creation of a resource to promote academic integrity, two-part concept learning tests, and student engagement.
