
George Kinnear is a lecturer in Technology Enhanced Mathematics Education in the School of Mathematics. As well as teaching an undergraduate course in Mathematics Education, he is responsible for the induction and support of new tutors in the School. His research interests are in technology and assessment; current activities include a PTAS-funded project into improving a diagnostic test, contributing to the rollout of STACK online assessments in the School, and studying the effect of "two-stage" assessments in different types of mathematics courses.
