Informal Python Programming Course

Monday, February 19, 2018 - 09:30 to Wednesday, February 21, 2018 - 13:00

In response to popular request, Dr Stuart King will be running an informal "Python Programming course" aimed at staff and PhD students in Mathematics.  Colleagues from the College are welcome to attend, subject to sufficient space. The plan is to run some very informal sessions with supporting materials (CodeRunner and worksheets) from our existing introductory Python programming MSc course.

This will take place in the Mathematics Seminar Room, JCMB (5323) on the mornings of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of flexible learning week (19th-21st February) between 9.30am and 1pm.

Anyone curious about using the online "CodeRunner" service for automatic assessment of programming and short code fragments is also welcome to attend to try the service from the students' perspective.

Please email Stuart <S.King [at] ed.ac.uk> if you wish to attend.
